Woodchuck / Groundhog / Gopher Removal – Upstate NY
Woodchucks front teeth never stop growing. Because of this, they will gnaw on various plants and trees to help file their teeth down. They will occasionally chew on outdoor furniture, decks, and siding. Woodchucks are also herbivores, so they can do a lot of damage to your landscaping or garden.
These interesting creatures burrow underground in dens. These dens typically have entrance holes that are about 8″ wide on average. They also tend to have multiple entrances and chambers. They are most noticeable from the dirt porch in the front. Most woodchucks are active and easily spotted during the day, and it is very common to see flies around the entrance of active woodchuck burrows.
